Orthophoto Mosaics

Aerial Robotix(ARX) uses unmanned aerial vehicles (Drones) to produce aerial photography at low altitude. This enables us to act safely, efficiently in a cost saving manner.

The low altitude flights yield unique and very high resolution imagery in which every detail can be seen. By using a geometrically calibrated camera and lens along with additional ground control points it is possible to derive the coordinates of each pixel in the images.

The imagery is further corrected for terrain heights and colour differences due to changing light conditions. All the imagery can then be mosaicked into one seamless Orthophoto mosaic that can be directly imported into any CAD or GIS system that can be used for mapping or measuring purposes.
